Definition of short-term success

Velvet Ashes will continue to offer the power of story through daily blog posts. Amy will help to grow and continue the Connection Group program for women to find mentoring and connection with other cross-cultural women. She will also help plan and host a yearly online retreat so that women can find spiritual renewal right where they are.

Definition of long-term success

Amy’s writing and public speaking as well as one-on-one endeavors and meetings with groups of Asians will continue. Her book “Looming Transitions” will continue to inform and guide the larger community of cross-cultural workers. Through Velvet Ashes, she endeavors to prepare women for the field, to support them while on the field, and to walk alongside them during the re-entry transition to their home countries. Long-term success involves many years.
